The Licensed Therapist will provide therapy services to individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addictions. The primary responsibility of the position is to evaluate situations, design appropriate treatment plans, and provide the necessary support. The therapist will also be responsible for working closely with other members of the treatment team to ensure optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients based on clinical assessment, diagnosis, and appropriate interventions.
Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
Plan and facilitate group therapy sessions.
Engage in ongoing assessment of patient progress to guide treatment.
Ensure patient records are kept up to date, secure, and in compliance with industry regulations.
Work collaboratively with other members of the treatment team including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other mental health professionals.
Consult with physicians and other professionals regarding patient care.
Qualifications
Must be a Licensed Therapist (AMFT, LMFT or LCSW)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing therapy services.
Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices.
Ability to assess and evaluate psychological and emotional changes.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
