Position Overview The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and overseeing civil engineering projects, with a primary focus on residential land development and subdivisions. This role requires a thorough understanding of engineering principles and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage residential land development projects from conception through completion.
Coordinate with architects, surveyors, and contractors to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project viability.
Prepare and review engineering plans and designs for residential subdivisions.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage project budgets and timelines, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with land development projects.
Facilitate communication between clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress.
3+ years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in residential land development.
Strong knowledge of local zoning laws and land development regulations.
