Audit Manager Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead our auditing team and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of GAAP and have experience working with not-for-profit organizations and C-Corporations. This role will involve managing audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit engagements for various clients, including not-for-profits and C-Corporations.
Develop and execute audit plans, ensuring adherence to GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
Review and finalize audit reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all findings and recommendations.
Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact for audit-related inquiries.
Identify areas for process improvement and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA certification is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of audit experience, with a focus on GAAP compliance.
Experience working with not-for-profit organizations and C-Corporations is advantageous.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
