The Intersect Group is partnered with our client to search for a Senior Product Owner who will play a key role in designing and delivering next-generation, guest-focused digital experiences. This position is vital to the success of digital initiatives by owning and driving components of the digital guest experience. As a Senior Product Owner, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and design digital solutions, manage backlogs, break down tasks for engineering teams, and oversee development and testing. You will ensure that delivered solutions meet expectations and align with strategic objectives.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or information technology with 5+ years of related experience, or 8+ years of equivalent work experience.
Proven ability to manage scope, budget, and time while weighing priorities and making trade-offs to achieve stakeholder objectives.
Experience as a Product Owner or SCRUM Master in Agile ceremonies.
Strong communication skills to engage and align stakeholders and teams effectively.

Proven experience as a Product Owner managing diverse implementations.
Ability to maintain clarity around the product vision in fast-paced Agile environments.
Experience with eCommerce or customer-facing internet solutions.
Strong skills in business process mapping and re-engineering.
Deep understanding of SCRUM frameworks, roles, ceremonies, and tools.
Proven track record of delivering products collaboratively with engineering teams and expertise in iterative development.
Proficiency in data solutions such as dashboards, APIs, and real-time alerts.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with Lean/Six Sigma concepts is a plus.
Proficiency in product management software and documentation tools.
Certified SCRUM Master or Certified Product Owner certification is a plus.
Business analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or PMP certification is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with internal clients, end users, product engineering, operations, and other product teams.
Collaborate across teams to develop cross-functional digital solutions.
Partner with Product Engineering Managers, SCRUM Masters, and engineering teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of application solutions.
Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and documentation of various applications.
Manage the backlog, prioritize features, and clearly communicate business value and expectations to development teams and stakeholders.
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather and analyze requirements and objectives.
Evaluate business needs to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, leveraging data analysis and trends.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and designs, ensuring alignment with objectives and compliance standards.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to facilitate communication and understanding.
Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing enhancements to existing systems and processes.
Define the vision, scope, and roadmap for assigned solutions.
Supervise product development stages, including design and testing.
Create user stories and track product progress at each stage.
Collaborate with SCRUM teams to adhere to Agile principles and achieve sprint goals.
Validate that business requirements comprehensively address project scopes, ensuring no gaps.
Monitor and report product status to internal clients, adapting backlogs based on feedback.
Advocate for product vision while managing trade-offs and optimizing desired outcomes.
Engage in customer journey mapping to align the guest experience with the product roadmap.
Support change management and training teams by providing user guides and documentation.
