The ServiceNow Engineer will oversee the configuration of a ServiceNow platform to ensure it meets the needs of users. You will reach a broad range of customers, so you'll need to develop solutions that make navigation easy to use and provides procedures that enable our staff to match customers with the products and services they need.
Responsibilities:
Develop ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Angular, AWS, HTML and CSS
Consult with other Developers, Business Analysts, Systems Analysts and project managers
Troubleshoot, and devise solutions to complex operational problems within the capacity and operation
Participate in the estimation and planning of iterative/agile releases
Provide feedback to management when timeline or resourcing constraints develop
Attend regular customer and team department meetings as scheduled
Effectively communicate priorities and work direction to complete assigned tasks on time and within budget
Track project timelines, budgets, and resource needs
Required Skills/Background:
Minimum of three years of ServiceNow development experience, including the creation and/or customization of the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, Service Catalog
Experience administering a ServiceNow instance including the delegation of groups, modification of CMS, workflows, business rules, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, catalog items and updates of all other existing solutions requiring revisions
Strong knowledge of computer languages, including JavaScript, Angular, AWS and HTML
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively evaluates information and data to make decisions
Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate information to audiences at all levels
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, highly desired
