Day to Day:
The Desktop Engineer will be part of the Level 3 desktop support team, this team handles 20% of company-wide escalations, which are the highest level of escalation.
The other 80% of their time will be performing high-level troubleshooting for Mac and Windows devices, performing administrative tasks and documentation in support of that troubleshooting work.
Additionally, their time will be spent doing discovery, learning about what issues can be automated, and providing thought leadership to the team as they push towards automating the desktop support role.
