This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $40 - $45 / hr. w2
Must be able to go on site 5 days a week and will be reduced to 4 days a week.
Responsibilities:
Actively and consistently support all efforts in our Indirect Procurement Category, including Contract Labor and Software suppliers.
Manage strategic sourcing activities with minimal guidance, including bid solicitation and supplier award recommendations.
Consolidate and analyze monthly and quarterly reports.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define procurement project requirements.
Assist in supplier negotiations using benchmarking and analysis.
Research and develop supply sources; evaluate supplier financial stability.
Conduct business analysis, including total cost of ownership.
Provide recommendations based on benchmarking and analysis.
Collect and analyze resource data to identify trends and forecast insights.
Understand data within the Indirect Procurement Category.
Seek and lead cost-saving opportunities.
Manage supplier performance and rate card updates; assist with miscellaneous activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Finance or equivalent proven experience.
5+ years in a Procurement role
3+ years in Indirect Sourcing
