Position Summary

Our client in the manufacturing space is looking for a Project Manager to assist in the end-to-end planning and support for an upcoming acquisition. This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of all phases of the M&A process, ensuring smooth transitions across teams, systems, and processes. The ideal candidate will be a strong driver, able to work across departments, gain buy-in from key stakeholders, and navigate the complexities of integrating two organizations with overlapping systems and cultures.

Responsibilities
  • Pre-Integration PlanningConduct initial discovery and scoping activities to identify key requirements and tasks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a comprehensive migration and integration plan
  • Identify necessary resources and secure their involvement
  • Define and track critical milestones, including those related to Transition Service Agreements (TSAs)
  • Integration ExecutionManage migration activities, including system integrations, testing, and training preparation
  • Coordinate with the HR team to ensure smooth personnel transitions and address cultural integration
  • Oversee ERP platform transitions, working with Great Plains (Dynamic 365) and Nextworld systems
  • Facilitate training sessions, documentation, and best practice sharing across teams
  • Stakeholder CollaborationWork closely with Leadership, IT, HR, Finance, Legal, and other key departments
  • Maintain clear communication with the program manager and escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders
  • Act as the primary point of contact for integration-related activities
  • Project Monitoring and AdjustmentsStay within project scope and timelines, addressing challenges and hiccups proactively
  • Monitor progress against deliverables and adjust plans as needed to achieve objectives
  • Ensure a seamless handoff to operational teams post-integration

  • Minimum Experience5+ years of program/project management experience
  • Previous experience supporting mergers and acquisitions
  • Experience in manufacturing environments and ERP platform transitions is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Jira, Smart Sheets, or other project management tools
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing senior leaders
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-departmental projects
  • Outgoing, proactive, adaptable, and self-driven personality

Salary / Wage Range

$60.00-$75.00/hour

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown. The Doyle Group offers a competitive rewards package, which includes a 401k, healthcare coverage and other benefits.
