We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a pivotal, cross-functional initiative within the Risk Data Analytics and Reporting domain. This role focuses on driving remediation efforts to align with stringent regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in managing high-impact, regulatory-driven programs and possess the leadership skills required to navigate a complex, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Project Leadership: Direct day-to-day management of project activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and business goals.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Engage with senior stakeholders, including project sponsors, to ensure effective communication, milestone tracking, and resource allocation.
Strategic Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including charters, stakeholder management frameworks, and benefit realization strategies.
Risk Mitigation: Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, escalating to appropriate stakeholders when necessary.
Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to program management best practices and regulatory standards, incorporating feedback to continuously enhance project outcomes.
Performance Oversight: Monitor resource commitments, ensuring the project is adequately staffed and aligned with business objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate stakeholder buy-in through structured communications, regular updates, and detailed reporting on project progress and risks.
Process Optimization: Partner with procurement, finance, and other teams to manage contracts and budgets, ensuring timely delivery and financial accountability.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: 15+ years in project management with significant exposure to regulatory, risk, or finance-driven initiatives.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of banking and trading products, risk analytics, or data management.
Project Management Expertise: Proficiency in both agile and waterfall methodologies, with the ability to tailor approaches to project needs.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with a proven ability to create executive summaries and senior management reports.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.
Certifications: PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; a master's degree is highly desirable.
