Responsibilities of the Commercial Lines Account Manager:
Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial clients, addressing inquiries, handling policy renewals, and providing exceptional service.
Review, process, and manage commercial insurance policies, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.
Build strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and maintain high retention rates.
Analyze client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options to mitigate risk effectively.
Work with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and present the best solutions to clients.
Assist clients in navigating the claims process, acting as an advocate to ensure timely resolution.
Ensure policies and procedures comply with state and federal insurance regulations.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products to meet client needs.
Collaborate with producers, underwriters, and other team members to provide comprehensive service.
Qualifications of the Commercial Lines Account Manager:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Active Property & Casualty Insurance license is required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial lines insurance account management.
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and coverages.
Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in insurance agency management software (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic, or similar).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Salary:
$55,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
