Responsibilities of the Commercial Lines Account Manager:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial clients, addressing inquiries, handling policy renewals, and providing exceptional service.
  • Review, process, and manage commercial insurance policies, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and maintain high retention rates.
  • Analyze client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options to mitigate risk effectively.
  • Work with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and present the best solutions to clients.
  • Assist clients in navigating the claims process, acting as an advocate to ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure policies and procedures comply with state and federal insurance regulations.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products to meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with producers, underwriters, and other team members to provide comprehensive service.

Qualifications of the Commercial Lines Account Manager:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance license is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial lines insurance account management.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and coverages.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management software (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:

$55,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
