The People Operations and Engagement Manager at Espirita is responsible for overseeing and coordinating operational support for nurses from the initial stages, 3-6 months prior to their arrival in the United States, through their onboarding and integration, and continuing throughout their tenure as clinical staff for Espirita.
Key responsibilities include managing daily communication and coordination between various stakeholders-Espirita, Favorite, Espirita's U.S. client, and external partners-to ensure comprehensive support is in place before each nurse arrives in the U.S. The manager will also ensure that each nurse's transition is seamless, their start date is met, and they are fully prepared to begin their roles. Additionally, this role involves developing and implementing a robust communication and engagement strategy to foster ongoing support, satisfaction, and national engagement for nurses throughout their U.S. assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless workflow, adherence to processes, and achievement of performance metrics.
Design, implement, and monitor employee support & engagement programs, supporting nurse retention across the clinical team.
Manage the day-to-day engagement across candidates, Espirita & Favorite stakeholders, clients & external third parties, strengthening relationships and fostering brand loyalty.
Identify and implement process enhancements, ensuring cost-effective and efficient operations aligned with business objectives.
Work closely with Operations, Credentialing & Recruitment management to ensure arrival plans for candidates are prepared in advance, well communicated and reactive as required. Oversee relocation operations, including travel arrangements, airport arrivals, transfers etc.
Track and analyze operational and engagement metrics, prepare reports and present insights to leadership to support decision-making.
Ensure operations align with legal and company standards, promoting best practices in safety, compliance, and employee engagement.
Qualifications:
3+ years in operations, engagement, or a related role, with a proven track record of managing processes and enhancing engagement.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and use insights for continuous improvement.
Proficiency in using project management and HR engagement software.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
