LHH is working with a firm in Cerritos, CA who has an opening for a corporate legal secretary. This role would be onsite. This role does have a emphasis on corporate and tax-related filings, transactions and governance matters.
Responsibilities: • Assemble documents, exhibits for filings with the secretary of state, tax authorities, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, depositions, etc. • Assist in preparing and finalizing formation documents for corporations and limited liability companies. • Schedule appointments and meetings as well as calendar deadlines.
Experience: • Corporate minutes experience. • Prepare and finalize articles of incorporation/articles of organization, bylaws, statements of information, EIN applications, and handle filings for entities. • Experience assisting with legal documents, correspondence, memoranda etc. • Proofreading experience.
Qualifications: • 4+ years of corporate/transactions experience as a legal secretary. • Must be near and go onsite 5 days a week in Cerritos, CA. • This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $70,000 to $92,000 and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, and 401k plans.
