We are hiring a Manufacturing Engineer at our Riverside, CA facility who has a passion for continuous improvement. You will help foster a hands-on, servitude culture impacting our team's commitment in meeting our customer's expectations and will help drive our solution-based business model. You will be responsible for executing a focused effort to improve operational effectiveness and strategic projects. Success in this position requires the development of collaborative relationships and delivery of measurable results through improvement projects. .

Key Responsibility:
Develop a deep understanding of products, customers, goals, organization, and business strategies, evaluating systems and processes, and identifying improvement needs
Review, follow and advise on operational processes and detect areas that can be improved
Follow established and current lean initiatives, advocate and foster continuous improvement activities
Participate in the purchasing processes for operation's machines and equipment, following the annual CAPEX investment plan for new acquisitions
Develop, train, and educate operation staff, guide technical direction
Work with maintenance team to maximize efficiencies and develop a pro-active plan to eliminate non-value activities and reduce scrap
Assist in the preparation of a critical spare parts list and work to improve current PM program
Support plant operations on equipment related issues that come up in the plant and helps insure smooth plant operation
Identify ways to improve efficiency and productivity, and providing maintenance and support activities for all existing solutions
Improve equipment life cycle and increase automation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering; preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
3+ years' experience in the Liquids or Aerosol filling/packaging industry (required)
Strong advocate for safety and quality control processes
Experience in developing and executing Capital projects to reduce downtime and/or costs
Must be a "hands on" problem solver
Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot production processes
Process safety management (PSM) certification a plus
