Rockland Trust is seeking an experienced Commercial Data Domain Manager to join our team.
The Commercial Data Domain Manager will play a pivotal role in not only overseeing the accurate and timely reporting of credit and loan portfolio data but also acting as a data steward, guiding the organization in broadening data literacy and insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, analytics, and financial reporting within the banking or financial services industry. This position will report to the Director of Data Governance.
Responsibilities:
Data Management:
Lead the development and implementation of robust data management processes for credit and loan portfolio data.
Act as a data steward, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Reporting Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive reporting strategy for credit and loan portfolios, aligning with organizational goals and regulatory guidelines.
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and design reports to effectively communicate portfolio performance.
Stakeholder Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk management, finance, and compliance, to understand reporting requirements and deliver insightful analyses.
Actively contribute to broadening data literacy across the organization and present findings and reports to senior management, translating complex data into actionable insights.
Technology Integration:
Lead effort to transfer reporting to new infrastructure and environment as the Bank engages a new enterprise data management strategy.
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality assurance measures to validate the integrity of credit and loan portfolio data, conducting regular audits to identify and rectify discrepancies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, data science, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
Proven experience in credit and loan portfolio data management and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and software. (Microsoft suite, SQL, Python, Alteryx)
In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements related to credit and loan portfolios.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership experience, including managing and developing high-performing teams.
