Responsibilities:
Oversee construction, facilities, and property maintenance laborers, providing regular updates to the Director of Operations on project time, cost, and vendor coordination.
Track and manage invoices for all active projects, ensuring accurate coding to purchase orders and reviewing all project payables.
Lead weekly team and interdepartmental meetings to coordinate construction, maintenance, and facilities projects, fostering alignment with real estate, operations, IT, safety, and finance teams.
Schedule and track labor for construction projects, conducting site surveys, maintaining communication with landlords, and providing feedback on field conditions.
Support Director of Operations on tenant transitions and lease renewals by managing vendor and internal labor activity, identifying physical conditions, and conducting due diligence.
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors, ensuring operational consistency, while supporting labor skill development and training to align with organizational growth.
Qualifications or Requirements:
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Minimum 10-15 years of direct management of skilled construction trade labor crews
Proficiency in scheduling software, spreadsheets, invoicing systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
High school diploma or GED
Hands-on experience in multi-trade construction, survey, and layout
Experience with multi-jurisdictional inspection requirements (city/county)
