Required Qualifications: • Must hold current Epic certifications for Epic Ambulatory • Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training • Three years' build experience in Epic Ambulatory • Three years' experience working with clinical information systems or system implementation teams for complex projects and/or application development • Experience gathering end user requirements and documenting workflows • Experience creating and managing time schedules, tracking issues, managing multiple activities and priorities, and maintaining productivity • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Proficient in office automation software (word processing, spreadsheets, visual presentation such as MS Project, Visio, etc.) • Experience serving as a technical leader and information resource to clinical users and management, providing guidance and recommendations on optimal strategies and policies for quality, efficiency, and functionality improvement of clinical information systems • Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication skills including the ability to convey highly technical information to all levels of clinical users and staff
The Client is seeking an experienced Ambulatory Build Analyst to support the Epic Ambulatory team in the implementation of system enhancements aimed at improving outpatient coding. This role will focus on implementing Epic charging-related systems enhancements for ambulatory clinical operations, and coding teams. The Ambulatory Build Analyst will be integral in improving charge capture and reconciliation processes across the organization.
Responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with application analysts, Ambulatory operations, and coding teams to collect and define requirements for charge capture, charge review, and reconciliation processes. Ensure alignment between technical build and operational needs • Lead the design and build of Epic charging-related functionalities, ensuring proper charge capture processes are implemented. Conduct testing and validate outcomes to ensure system enhancements meet operational requirements • Develop and support a comprehensive training plan for clinical and coding staff to ensure successful adoption of new charge capture functionalities • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders, produce documentation and action plans, ensure effective communication and follow-through on technical implementations and user adoption activities • Collaborate with ambulatory operations to define key performance indicators for charge capture enhancements. Provide regular updates, status reports, risks, and issues to leadership • Identify and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate program governance team partnering with IT leadership to resolve escalations promptly and ensure timely project delivery
