We are seeking a dedicated ELD Intervention Teacher to join our team at one of our schools located in the Huntington Park, CA area. Under the direction of the Head of School, you will lead intervention classes, focusing on areas such as math, reading, and writing, while developing lesson plans and providing direct instruction. This position will also involve collaborating with general education teachers to assist in the selection of appropriate curricula and the development and implementation of effective instructional strategies. Pay Range: $64,480.00 - $89,388.20 Annually

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred).
California Teaching Credential required.
Experience working in an IB world school is preferred.
Recent and relevant professional development in teaching and learning.
Strong computer technology skills.
Experience and/or knowledge of backward planning to develop learning units preferred.
Proven ability to work effectively in an urban school environment preferred.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
Responsibilities
Lead intervention classes in math, reading, and writing to support student growth.
Develop lesson plans and provide direct instruction tailored to individual student needs.
Participate in SST and 504 meetings, providing necessary student progress data.
Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and staff regarding student progress and necessary interventions.
Assist general education teachers in selecting appropriate curricula and developing effective instructional strategies.
Work collaboratively with school staff to enhance student outcomes.
