Position Description:
This role involves performing a variety of administrative tasks to support the Research and Analysis (R&A) department. The position requires applying detailed knowledge of departmental policies and procedures and providing day-to-day problem-solving support. Working independently and exercising critical thinking skills, this role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of the R&A team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Gather and summarize data for reports and maintain varied spreadsheet reports and correspondence.
Utilize Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, for document creation and management.
Operate inter-/intranet systems and handle telephone communications effectively.
Perform a wide range of administrative functions, maintaining confidentiality and handling detailed work with precision.
Problem-solve and execute independent judgment in handling technical, complex, and difficult administrative tasks.
Manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously, ensuring prioritization and coordination of activities.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to team members as required.
Establish and maintain professional working relationships with staff and external entities.
Schedule and coordinate meetings and conferences, ensuring proper preparation and follow-up.
Skills Required:
