We are recruiting a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst for our LNG client in Arlington, VA.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for financial analyses, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling for our Corporate FP&A team. This person will work closely with all members of the team (including Finance, Accounting, IT, Legal, Project Directors, Engineering, and Operations).
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and maintaining the budgeting process, implementing new systems and analytical tools
Collaborate with department leads to identify key performance indicators and business drivers including ongoing reporting and monitoring
Assist with maintaining a reporting system, which provides management with appropriate information to drive business decisions
Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual financial results for internal and external reporting
Initiate, drive and implement those activities that improve the overall financial reporting and analysis of supporting areas
Work with Leadership and Investor Relations team to coordinate and develop materials as needed
Review contracts to understand accounting requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field;
2 or more years of professional experience in Finance
Demonstrated understanding of key financial concepts, including but not limited to financial statements, cash flow, net present value, and return on investment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to simplify complex projects and concisely convey key insights
Demonstrated analytical and quantitative abilities
Passion for being a part of a dynamic team environment with rapidly changing assignments and priorities
Demonstrated initiative and ownership of work with strong attention to detail
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience with SAP and SAC a plus
Ability to accurately prepare professional daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with analyzing complex IT infrastructure and cost accounting
