Join our Residential Credit Team and play a critical role in supporting our mortgage and home equity loan operations. As a Senior Loan Processor, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring smooth loan closings, accurate documentation, and compliance with lending regulations. We're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented professional who's passionate about providing high-quality service and ensuring regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do:
Key Responsibilities:
Loan Closing and Documentation:
Complete worksheets, input forms, closing instructions, and packages for closed-end loans.
Provide closed files to Loan Operations for funding and booking.
Upload residential files to predetermined data folders.
Review and approve Closing Disclosures, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Loan Pricing and Secondary Market:
Price loans before underwriting submission, ensuring proper LLPA adjustments.
Review Secondary Market update rate sheet and communicate with the lending team.
Compliance and Regulation:
Maintain knowledge of current lending laws and regulations.
Follow policies and procedures, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
Support efforts related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), the Bank Secrecy Act, and other relevant federal regulations.
Project Management:
Assist the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) in special projects.
Review audit reports and assist in supervising HELOC processors with income document review.
Pipeline and Commitments:
Update and maintain the open pipeline of active, denied, and withdrawn loans.
Send outstanding commitments to accounting and review underwriting worksheets.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Lock in Fannie Mae loans.
Structure loans and input applications for loan officers without access to Calyx software.
Invoicing and Financial Approvals:
Sign off on invoices for payment.
Review and approve financial documentation as necessary.
Collaboration & Communication:
Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, and credit managers to facilitate loan processing.
Review and release residential loan disclosures, ensuring compliance with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, USDA, and FHA guidelines.
What We're Looking For:
4+ years of experience in loan processing or a related field.
Bachelor's Degree
Strong knowledge of income calculation, secondary market guidelines, and federal loan regulations.
Proficiency in Calyx software, MS Word, and Excel.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
Analytical problem-solving skills and a commitment to compliance.
