The Financial Planning Analyst will manage the tasks and processes related to the statistical analysis, budgets, forecasts, and strategic planning of the organization's financial and accounting information. This position is hybrid (1-2 days remote) after onsite training. Salary: $90,000-$120,000 DOE.
The qualified candidate will have a four-year degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field, at least three years of FP&A experience, and strong skills in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, reporting, and project management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create financial models and perform budget and forecast development, using actual and informed assumptions.
Prepare reports using tools, spreadsheets, programs for data aggregation, calculation, and formatting. These include scheduled reports and/or ad-hoc.
Collaborate and support functional business leaders to provide line of sight and understanding to business results and forecasts.
Guide the cost analysis process with enforcement of financial policies and procedures, using trend analysis to inform planning, capital spend, and operational expense.
Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence and valuation methodology as needed.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance.
3-5 years of FP&A experience required.
Proven understanding of financial governance.
Experience working within a Private Equity-backed company.
Exceptional financial modelling skill and experience.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
Presentation / explanation acumen with clarity and simplicity.
Knowledge of financial systems, applications, programs, tools, and governance.
