Job Time Hourly Rate: $40-44 per hour

Driver's license and a clean driving history required.

Compensation Details:

We have a hybrid pay structure, where you earn wages based on the work being performed. Our team's total earnings are comprised of two rates - Administrative and Job Time Hourly Rate. The administrative rate is a fixed rate of eighteen dollars per hour.

Shop Manager

Aftermath is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Manager to lead our team. This role is designed for a dynamic leader who excels in both operational management and team development. While prior experience in construction, demolition, restoration, and comparable industries are a plus, it is not required. Aftermath provides comprehensive training and certification on OSHA safety and IICRC compliance, biohazard remediation and mitigation, and customer service. We are committed to training our technicians for success.

What you'll do:
  • Direct leadership and development of staff, ensuring adherence to safety standards and company policies.
  • Serve as a "Player-Coach" through direct job site management and support of the Field Team in various biohazard remediation projects.
  • Responsible for shop operations, including but not limited to staffing, interviewing, onboarding, training, and scheduling.
  • Facilitate community outreach to build brand awareness and establish strong local partnerships.
  • Support Market Manager and Area Manager in daily operations and special projects as needed.
  • Respond promptly to service calls, providing job site bioremediation services in various emergency situations.

Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to respond to dispatch office within one hour of receiving a call.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Occasional overnight travel, with accommodations provided by the company.
  • Capable of handling a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Experience and Skills

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Must reside locally and be able to respond to the shop within one hour of receiving a service call
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience. Preferably in biohazard remediation, construction, mitigation, restoration, or a related field.
  • Must have demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a technical or field service environment.
  • Must possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have completed Aftermath's Field Learning Path within 30 days of start, and Supervisor Learning Path within 90 days of start.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • IICRC S540 certification or equivalent in biohazard remediation
  • Proven experience in project management and team leadership in high-stress scenarios.
  • Customer service experience and military personnel are highly valued.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a track record of successful community engagement and outreach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and relevant software.
