We are seeking a Benefits Payments Services Representative for a very important client.
Benefit Payment Services (BPS) assists retirees with questions regarding their pension payments. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who possess a commitment to superior customer service to join our team of call center professionals. Responds to customer verbal and/or written inquiries. Records details about customer inquiries. Helps resolve complicated customer complaints. Coordinates and expedites customer inquiries to other departments for resolution. • Receiving inbound calls • Understanding call requests, problem solving as needed, and routing if required per client profile • Assisting retirees with questions about their pension payments, tax forms, withholdings, etc. • Sending forms via mail, fax, and email to participants
The ideal candidate should posses the following qualifications: • Previous call center experience a plus but not required • Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, internet, and email. • Highly motivated, self starter who can complete functions with little supervision • Strong organization/time management skills &ability to prioritize • Ability to function well in a high volume environment & multi task • Adapts well to change and is a team player- ability to achieve both individual and group goals • Must have excellent communication skills & telephone etiquette with customer service focus • Excellent attendance record required • Must be willing to work overtime when necessary
