The Position
Arteria is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Solutions Consultant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will provide fundamental support, both functional and technical, to sales pursuits in Arteria's core client segments of large financial institutions. Key activities include technical solutioning, business casing, value engineering, client discovery workshops and providing product demonstrations. The successful candidate is an excellent communicator with deep problem-solving skills and a strong willingness to learn. Arteria is a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment; the ability to work effectively in high-functioning teams is critically important.
Your role at Arteria AI • Interact with prospective clients to understand their functional and technical requirements and use cases to develop pointed, value-driving solutions; • Create tailored demonstrations of the SaaS product to address client needs; • Provide in-depth knowledge of the SaaS product's features and how it integrates with client ecosystems; • Develop proofs of concept (POC), workshops and custom solutions to showcase the product's capabilities; • Establish an understanding of both functional and technical client requirements by analyzing workflows, process maps, client architecture with relevant systems and data sources, and other knowledge artifacts; • Support sales cycles with functional and technical expertise, including product demonstrations and technical product presentations; • Collaborate with the broader sales team to develop, craft and execute on winning sales strategies and help support product growth, pipeline development and thought leadership; • Identify key client priorities and value drivers by analyzing public client artifacts (e.g., annual reports, presentations, interviews, etc.) and align the Arteria value proposition accordingly. Outputs may be in the form of business cases or targeted pitch decks; • Track the broader Financial Services industry (specifically around Fintech and documentation) and distill the latest trends and updates to clients and other members of the team; • Act as a technical liaison between clients and product teams, providing feedback, expertise and direction; • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential areas of growth and improvement; • Support the creation of marketing collateral such as whitepapers, generic technical presentations, and product demonstrations; • Become a product expert to be able to create and deliver presentations, both internally and externally; • Assist the team in responding to RFI's, RFP's & other sales-related pursuits; • Deliver bespoke presentations to clients stakeholders.
Desired Skills and Experience • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business or Technology or related field, or equivalent experience; • 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales engineering, consulting or product role, preferably in the software industry; • Understanding of the Financial Services industry with a focus on banking with prior experience in FinTech considered an asset; • Strong technical skills in areas such as software, product development, data integration and familiarity with key technical concepts; • Experience in creating and delivering presentations to Senior audiences; • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate both functional and technical concepts to a non-technical audience; • Experience assisting with an enterprise sales cycle; • Superior problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting; • Exceptional work ethic and ability to perform under pressure; • Experience with customer-facing roles and ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders across an organization; • High standard for attention to detail.
