The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in all phases of the construction process, from pre-construction to project closeout. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a broad commercial construction background who are eager to grow their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing all aspects of the project, including schedules, budgets, and documentation.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
Participate in project meetings and maintain detailed records of progress.
Help ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Support the Project Manager in identifying and mitigating project risks.
Facilitate smooth project closeouts, including punch lists and turnover documentation.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in ground-up or TI projects.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
No degree required-practical experience and a strong work ethic are valued.
