Qualifications:
PMP certification is required for all Project Management roles.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience with:
Creating Work Orders and Work Order Tasks.
Material and Service Requests.
Assisting with monthly reporting and project closeout.
Experience in safety briefings and project walkdowns is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with bid package preparation and contractor estimate audits.
Familiarity with asset mapping and project closeout procedures.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team located in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of projects under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager. Your contributions will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This hybrid role requires excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in project management tools. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, possesses a keen eye for detail, and is eager to grow their project management expertise.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to the Project Manager during meetings, including safety briefings, note-taking, and documentation.
Assist in developing project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation strategies.
Coordinate project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
Monitor project progress and proactively identify and address issues or risks.
Prepare and process essential project documentation, such as:
Contract Payment Authorizations (CPAs)
Invoice Checklists
Contract Requisitions (CREQs)
Contract Change Requests (CCRs)
Create and manage Work Orders, Material Requests, and Service Requests.
Assist with monthly reporting on project/program progress.
Maintain organized project documentation via Work Folders and OneDrive.
Support project closeout activities, including clearing FIN005 Reports and assisting with Asset Map Rows (AMRs).
Contribute to bid package creation, bid evaluations, and auditing contractor/engineer estimates.
Participate in project walkdowns to review safety and project objectives.
