Role Overview
As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll work closely with Project Managers and field teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This is an excellent opportunity to build your project management skills and contribute to the success of high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities
Document Management: Maintain project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Budget & Cost Control: Support budget tracking, cost reporting, and invoice reviews.
Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of work and adherence to quality standards.
Communication: Serve as a liaison between clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
Safety & Compliance: Assist in enforcing safety protocols and ensuring regulatory compliance on job sites.
Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve project-related challenges.
Qualifications
Experience: 1+ years of experience in construction or project management, preferably in industrial or retail projects, however candidates from a subcontractor background are also considered.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Skills: Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge: Familiarity with construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
Traits: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
