East West Bank is currently accepting resumes for Credit Analyst roles on the Dallas Commercial Banking team for early 2025 that may support one or more of the following lending teams: C&I, Project Finance, Energy Finance, Healthcare and/or Commercial Real Estate. Generally, this role is responsible for client financial/credit monitoring, financial spreading, covenant monitoring, financial analysis, underwriting and portfolio management of commercial banking relationships. The position will work closely with relationship managers, portfolio managers, prospects and clients. Primary performance responsibilities include analyzing financial data to determine the merits of new lending opportunities, writing opportunity memos, assisting with preparation of loan packages, and monitoring client performance.
Responsibilities
Perform financial analysis, financials spreading/monitoring, covenant compliance review/monitoring, industry research and risk analysis.
Significant portion of responsibility is due diligence and analysis of new lending opportunities in well written opportunity memos that are reviewed by lending department management and credit department management seeking approval to proceed into full underwriting.
Partner with the Relationship Managers to learn about prospecting, selling/pitching bank products, structuring loans, building and maintaining client relationships.
Ensure the portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship is in compliance with EWB credit policy, procedures, lending strategy and regulatory guidelines.
Perform other administrative duties required for the maintenance of a portfolio of clients.
Participates in community and business functions/groups to ensure a positive image for the bank within the region's marketplace.
Assist the relationship manager and portfolio manager with quarterly monitoring reports and other projects/requests.
Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, management or a related field.
Minimum of 2 accounting classes and 2 finance classes
Past internships are preferrable.
Some relevant prior work experience is desirable

Highly motivated, responsible, strong work ethic and self-starter.
Good understanding of generally accepted accounting and finance principles.
Strong critical thinking skills.

Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.5 is required.
In office full-time from 8am - 5pm each business day with ability and willingness to work occasional weekend or evenings depending on client requirements.
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $60,000.00/Yr. - USD 75,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
