What you will be doing as the Inventory Control Manager:
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management within the organization.
Planning, organizing, and executing inventory control processes to ensure accuracy, optimize efficiency, and support operational needs.
Works closely with finance, regulatory, procurement, logistics, warehouse, and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize stock discrepancies, and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Ensuring that inventory aligns with customer demand, company goals, and compliance standards.
Develop and implement inventory management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
Analyze and track inventory trends to identify and address potential overstock or understock situations
Generate and maintain inventory reports, including inventory accuracy, stock levels, turnover rates, and forecast accuracy.
Analyze inventory data to inform purchasing decisions and improve forecasting and demand planning processes.
What you will need as the Inventory Control Manager:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., APICS) is a plus.
5+ years of experience in inventory management or a related field, with a proven track record in managing inventory control operations.
Strong knowledge of inventory management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, preferred.
Familiarity with ERP- Infor M3, preferred
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)- Softeon and inventory forecasting tools, preferred
Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics.
