RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review architectural drawings and specs to perform full labor and material take-off utilizing BlueBeam and ProjectPAK
Provide millwork budgets, bids, and change order pricing for a variety of project sizes ($10K to $10M)
Negotiate projects with various Bay Area general contractors
Negotiate projects with various Sacramento Area contractors
Manage gross margin to company expectations
Set expectations and qualify/exclude scope to company standards
Source specialty materials and pricing
Review subcontractor quotes for buyout scope
Review material quotes from vendors
Communicate millwork scope clearly with employees and customers
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
Full competence in reading and understanding all construction documents
Minimum 3 years of millwork/cabinetry estimating experience
Well organized and detail oriented
Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making ability
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Able to effectively communicate/explain scope to architects, designers, general contractors, -subcontractors and vendors
Experienced in high-end custom architectural millwork scope
Attend job site meetings (including Bay Area) as needed
Attend quarterly "all-hands" meetings in Fremont, CA
Onsite training in Fremont, CA
