The firm seeks to hire an individual to work as part of an entrepreneurial Client Advisory/Business Development team primarily focused on supporting and growing the firm's institutional business.
Position Overview
This individual will serve as an integral member of the Client Advisory/Business Development team with a primary focus on managing and growing the firm's institutional clients and a secondary focus as a product specialist for the firm's U.S. convertible strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated interest and ability to manage and nurture relationships with existing and prospective investors. The role will require strong communication and strategic thinking skills. Additional responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Seek out prospective institutional investors, focusing primarily on public pension funds east of the Mississippi
Coordinate and comprehensively prepare for meetings and calls, and proactively follow up in a precise, timely, and professional fashion with prospective and existing investors
Assist with responding to ad hoc investor inquiries
Performing detailed data analysis to provide unique perspectives on the convertible asset class and the firm's product positioning
Participate actively in the RFI and RFP process related to and helping to develop a more streamlined, efficient, and scalable process
Prepare product reviews for senior management and marketers
Enter meeting notes in the firm's CRM System
Collaborate and work closely with the team on automation initiatives
