Market Development Manager of Cardiology Device Company
Remote/field-based position; Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas
My client is a well-established global device company in the cardiovascular industry with emerging surgical devices in the structural heart and peripheral intervention space. They have several unique devices within the portfolio and are continuing to acquire new companies to further expand the product line. They are looking for a Market Development Manager who networks and negotiates with GPO's and hospital administration to foster more business growth in the territory. They are looking for a top-performing medical device professional who is already well connected with KOL's in the region. This is a business role rather than a clinical, case-based role; this candidate will be traveling amongst the region to grow the business.
What you need to be a Market Development Manager:
5 plus years of medical device experience
Ability to travel by car or plane
Clinical experience and knowledge with cardiology is required, structural heart is a major plus
Strong current network with interventional cardiologist KOL's in the territory is required
Prior frontline sales experience is great if you want to move into a more business focused role
