We seek an experienced and motivated HVAC/Sheet Metal Estimator to join a dynamic commercial mechanical construction industry team. This role is integral to managing and executing various HVAC and sheet metal projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget management, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
Lead special projects beyond typical duties, ensuring effective delegation and efficient workflow. Coordinate team efforts to improve productivity and meet project goals on time and within budget.
Maintain ongoing professional relationships, handling inquiries and ensuring timely responses. Address customer needs throughout the project lifecycle to foster long-term business relationships.
Prepare detailed quotes, contracts, and responses for current and prospective clients. Accurately assess project requirements and provide cost-effective, competitive bids.
Partner with the Inside Sales Manager to allocate tasks, track project progress, and ensure timely delivery. Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
Proactively identify potential risks on multiple projects and take corrective action. Ensure quality control throughout fabrication, adhering to company standards and client expectations.
Qualifications
A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
3-5 years of experience in HVAC, project management, or sales, with a proven record of success in client acquisition and relationship management.
Strong leadership skills focusing on effective team management and conflict resolution.
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to interpret and operate 3D models.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities, focusing on meeting deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and handle customer concerns efficiently.
Local, stable work history preferred, demonstrating consistent, high-quality service delivery.
