Responsibilities:
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the public services sector.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth and market expansion.
Collaboration: Work closely with the senior BDL and other team members to align business development strategies with organizational goals.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
Proposal Development: Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and presentations to potential clients.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on business development activities and performance metrics.
Compliance: Ensure all business development activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements:
Experience: 10 - 15 years of experience in business development, preferably within the public services sector.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Skills:
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Experience in proposal development and contract negotiation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Other: Willingness to travel as required.
