About the Role - We are excited to hire a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will be an integral part of the Sales and Marketing teams. The SDR role is critical to our continued growth through successful demand generation programs and new account sales. Responsibilities

  • Persistently pursue new leads and identify prospective leads through warm and cold calling, industry/company events, social media outreach, among others
  • Qualify leads with research, identify decision makers, and generate interest in our platform
  • Work closely with VP of Marketing and Sales leadership team on strategy, communication, and pipeline updates
  • Support sales team with the coordination of meetings
  • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with prospects, offering updates and insights regarding Avant-garde Health and our growth and development
  • Maintain and expand our database of contacts
  • Occasionally attend and provide on-site representation at industry events
  • Recognize recurring issues, trends and competitive threats. Identify improvement areas through a consultative process

Qualifications

  • Must Have: 1-2 Years experience as a Sales Development Representative
  • Must Have: Ability to work from the Boston office at least 2 days per week
  • Preferred: Experience in a Health-Tech software company selling to hospitals and/or ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs)
  • Preferred: Experience supporting a Sales team
  • Preferred: Experience nurturing multiple accounts with timely follow-ups in a busy environment
  • Preferred: Ability to engage executives and other decision makers while gaining confidence and building rapport
  • Preferred: Proficiency in using social media to broaden visibility and cultivate relationships

Pay range and compensation package - Compensation is comprised of a competitive base salary and performance-based commission. Individuals hired as Sales Development Representatives at Avant-garde Health have the opportunity to over-achieve their quota and commissions. For individual contributions that ultimately lead to sales success, SDRs share in the rewards.
