Senior Site Merchandising Manager -- develops strategy and manages the execution of online/site merchandising to achieve AG Jeans online marketing and sales goals while working to improve the digital customer experience. This position reports to the Director of ECommerce.
This position is full-time, and in-person.
Responsibilities:
Create and optimize the product assortments and categories for online product catalog.
Utilize analytics to monitor traffic, customer behavior, sales trend and feedback to gain customer insights.
Ensure that online merchandising plans support key strategic initiatives, launches, top-sellers, seasonal campaigns and trends.
Own product discovery funnel including onsite search and navigation.
Responsible for creation, maintenance and successful execution of Online Merchandising Calendar as well as coordinating with Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing and Retail teams to ensure alignment.
Partner with Digital Marketing team on campaigns and SEO efforts to optimize search-related traffic including editing copy for product page to incorporate new key words in product descriptions.
Responsible for creating site activations and experiences that deliver on the brand's creative vision while also meeting financial KPI's.
Coordinate with Brand Marketing to organize product photo and video shoots ensuring the website has the assets necessary for successful storytelling and a consistent representation of the brand's creative vision.
Collaborate with marketing department to plan and schedule product detail photography.
Collaborate on the development of open-to-buy inventory and purchasing plans and budgets.
Partner with Digital Product Manager to recommend site and usability enhancements.
Examine and assess category merchandising strategies of key competitors and best-in-class online retailers to understand emerging trends and developments.
Manage website KPIs including conversion, bounce rate, exit rate, abandoned carts, etc.
Manage Online Merchandising team and ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and are adhering to approved budgets and standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of digital retail and site merchandising experience.
Strong eye and feel for fashion trends and product.
Experience managing to sales and margin goals as well as analyzing website metrics and optimizing merchandising to drive sales.
Experience working with buying and planning organizations.
Deep understanding of how customers shop online and in what ways that differ from their in-store shopping experience and habits.
Deep knowledge of web design and UX principles.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Strong business acumen.
In-depth analytical skills and results oriented.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
Experience with Shopify+ and GA4.
Working knowledge of HTML or CMS a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and/or holidays.
Ability to lead and develop a team.
