In this role, you will be responsible for marketing the automated fueling units used to fuel equipment in the oil field fracking business.There are a number of companies, like Atlas Oil Company, that operate in the various shale basins (Bakken, Williston, Anadarko-Woodford, Eagle Ford, Fayetteville, Haynesville, Marcellus, DJ, Utica and Granite Wash) that require automated fueling for both safety and efficiency. The Fuel Automation Station units (FAS) offer the most advanced technology and spill prevention in the automated frac fueling space. This is a fast paced, deadline driven role that requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.Ideal candidates will have marketed products to companies in the fracking space or to "jobbers" in the areas where the shale basins are located.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the current FAS rental unit customers
Ensure contracts are in place
Units are delivered when needed
Billing follows the contract terms and funds are collected
Wear and Tear is documented and billed back to the customer where appropriate and on a timely basis
Identify potential customers not using an automated fueling solution and sell FAS units into them
Identify potential customers using competing automated units and displace those units with FAs units
Ability to negotiate the best rates for rental of the units (daily and monthly rates)
Gather/utilize customer testimonials for use in marketing the units
In partnership with marketing plan out marketing materials and social media campaigns that highlight the advantages of FAS and generates leads for use of the FAS unit
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or equivalent experience.
5-8 years of sales/marketing with a concentration in the oil fields or oil and gas industry
Candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be very organized
Self-starter responsible for networking and identifying leads in the oil field
Must have a strong mechanical knowledge to be able to articulate benefits of the FAS units
