$1b+ Private Equity fund is seeking a professional to lead their Investor Relations & Business Development effort and to join its growing team. The position will have daily external client-building and relationship management responsibilities which include working with over an extensive LP coverage list encompassing Endowments and Foundations, Pensions, RIA, Family offices, Corporate Relationships, etc. The successful candidate will be self-directed and able to prioritize multiple work streams in a fast- paced environment.
Responsibilities: • Identifying, cultivating relationships with, and securing investment capital commitments from current and prospective investors • Support on all related project management and content/communications development activities for the funds • Create, review and/or enhance various processes centric to investor communication and the Firm's wider collateral marketing materials. • Maintain limited partner feedback loop with team members and the broader Investment team. • Collaborate with Fund's Finance, Investment, and Operation teams to identify and drive
continuous improvement on systems, LP communication and reporting protocols. • Lead and execute IR-related project mandates with associate support on following tasks. • Transaction announcements (new deals, add-ons, exits, etc.) • Develop and administer monthly newsletters • Develop and administer quarterly reports • Accurate and timely completion of LP information and data requests outside of fundraises • Meet with investors and provide updates or support diligence sessions when necessary • Assist with marketing and event planning, specifically the annual investor meeting. • Overseeing the execution of a) key annual projects such as the annual investor meeting, the annual Advisory Committee meetings, and internal strategic sessions, b) fundraising processes, and c) ongoing workflow for both internal and external stakeholders • Responsible for supporting the production of fundraising materials (including PPM, collateral material, fund documentation, due diligence data, etc.) • Data analysis and database management of key information related to existing and potential investors
Key Qualifications
Applicant must be based or willing to relocate to the West Palm Beach Area.
5 -10 years+ of relevant experience required; ideal experience at an Institutional Private markets fund in a product specialist and / or capital raising capacity
Outstanding record of accomplishment and advancement in positions held to date
Impeccable written and oral communication skills
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects at one time
Extensive writing experience with the ability to succinctly and clearly summarize investment information for investors
