Job Description:

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Hotel Management Services

Verge Management, LLC, will provide management services to support 14 properties in 7 states. We are seeking an accomplished and visionary leader to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for our hotel division, with proven experience to be able to organize our own management services company for our existing and newly acquired hotels.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of expertise in hotel management, managing branded properties (i.e., Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt) and strategic leadership, with a proven track record of driving business growth and operational excellence in the hospitality industry. In your previous role(s), you engaged directly with the Franchisor, influencing the chain to approve your organization to own and operate properties. You have the drive and ambition to build a brand to expand opportunities for our organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership- Develop and communicate the company's strategic vision, mission, and objectives. Lead the executive team in setting and executing strategic initiatives to drive sustainable growth and profitability. Identify emerging market trends and opportunities for expansion, diversification, and innovation.

2. Brand Management- Oversee the management and evolution of the company's hotel brands. Develop and implement brand strategies to enhance brand awareness, loyalty, and market position. Ensure brand consistency across all locations and marketing channels. Monitor guest satisfaction and brand performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

3. Operational Excellence- Drive operational efficiency and excellence across the hotel network. Develop and implement standardized operating procedures, training programs, and performance metrics to ensure consistent quality and guest satisfaction. Implement best practices and technology solutions to optimize operations and maximize profitability.

4. Financial Management- Manage the financial performance of the company and its network. Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor financial metrics and key performance indicators to identify trends, mitigate risks, and capitalize on opportunities for growth and profitability. Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and vendors to optimize cost management.

5. Relationship Management- Cultivate strong relationships with franchisors, vendors, industry partners, and other stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for hotel division. Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align strategies and achieve common goals.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in executive leadership roles within the hospitality industry, with a focus on hotel management.
• Proven track record of success in brand management and operational excellence.
• Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data, develop budgets, and drive financial performance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends, identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams, foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must be able to work and live in Houston, Texas area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
