As a Remediation Program Manager, you are responsible for overseeing remediation projects, managing staff and subcontractors, engaging stakeholders, and driving financial growth. You will provide technical and regulatory expertise to ensure successful project outcomes and contribute to the company's financial objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Project Oversight: Manage site investigation and remediation projects to deliver effective solutions for clients.
Technical Expertise: Utilize existing technologies and experience to develop solutions to complex problems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Financial Management: Analyze financial data, track project budgets, and manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and DSO. Identify and pursue remediation opportunities and exceed responsible budget on a quarterly and annual basis.
Stakeholder Engagement: Interact with clients, manage relationships, and ensure client retention and revenue growth.
Reporting and Compliance: Prepare detailed reports on project scope, objectives, and regulatory compliance.
Team Supervision: Oversee senior technicians, scientists, and project control staff, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Risk Management: Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
Resource Management: Anticipate and manage resource needs effectively.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor project performance and identify areas for improvement.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Oversee field employees and subcontractors associated with the project.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in a related field or equivalent. A PE (Professional Engineer) or PG (Professional Geologist) is required.
8-10 years of related experience or equivalent.
Strong commitment to excellence and high standards.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Up to 25% overnight travel required, based on business needs.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
