A private equity firm focused on technology enabled companies is looking to bring on a Strategy Investor Relations Associate that will report to the Director of Investor Relations. This role is ideal for candidates coming from a consulting background who have a strong understanding of business strategy, financial analysis, and excellent communication skills. As an IR Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of our investor relations strategy and assist in strategic planning initiatives that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Investor Relations:
Support the preparation of quarterly earnings materials, investor presentations, and other external communications.
Maintain and update investor databases and ensure accurate tracking of shareholder inquiries and interests.
Collaborate with senior management to craft clear and consistent messaging for investor communications.
Assist in preparing financial models, company performance analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
Manage investor relations calendar, coordinating meetings, roadshows, and conference participation.
Strategy:
Conduct in-depth market and industry research to inform corporate strategy and business development opportunities.
Support the formulation of long-term strategic plans in collaboration with the senior leadership team.
Analyze financial reports, forecasts, and KPIs to monitor business performance and identify key trends.
Develop strategic insights from competitive analysis, market trends, and macroeconomic factors that influence business decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with finance, legal, and communications teams to ensure consistency in investor and strategic communications.
Provide support to senior leadership in preparing board materials, ad hoc analyses, and internal presentations.
Help drive the execution of strategic initiatives and projects across the organization.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
2-4 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or a similar strategic role, with exposure to financial modeling and analysis.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to process complex financial data and communicate insights clearly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience in creating high-quality presentations and reports.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with investor relations platforms or CRM tools is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
