POSITION SUMMARY:
This role provides advisory support for acquisition management, program planning, and integration for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/WII) Medium Altitude UAS Division at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.
This division supports the development, acquisition, and sustainment of medium altitude remotely piloted aircraft for the USAF, Marine Corps, National Guard, and international partners.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advise on acquisition management, program planning, and documentation for products like reports, briefings, and contracts.
Review and recommend process improvements for AFLCMC/WII procedures and reporting requirements.
Provide support in financial management, contract tracking, and coordination with DFAS.
Assist in meeting planning, organization, and facilitation (in-person and virtual).
Offer technical advice on operational requirements, sustainment efforts, and risk mitigation strategies.
Monitor and document contractor performance, including cost, schedule, and technical data.
Support the development of Statements of Work (SOW), acquisition plans, and sustainment requirements.
Collaborate with key stakeholders (DCMA, QA, warfighters) on aircraft delivery and system integration.
Provide input on long-range planning, roadmaps, and system upgrades for MQ-9 RPAs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A U.S. Secret Clearance is required for this role.
MA/MS degree and 12 years of experience in Foreign Military Sales Acquisition Management Support (5+ years in DoD).
OR
BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience in Foreign Military Sales Acquisition Management Support (5+ years in DoD).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not supervise the work of others.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, 80%.
TRAVEL:
Some OCONUS travel may be required. Therefore, individuals considered for the role must have a valid U.S. Passport to facilitate travel.
