About the Role

Responsibilities
Establish new relationships with potential clients who contact the agency and secure them for insurance
Develop and maintain relationships with key referral partners
Identify prospects through cold calling and in-person visits to local businesses, offering and selling insurance products
Complete necessary forms and input information into the software system following a sale
Cultivate client relationships to cross-sell additional lines of insurance
Participate in agency-provided training to gain familiarity with product offerings and systems
Ensure all renewals and change requests meet company requirements
Qualifications
Valid, current Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License
Demonstrated success in sales
Professional demeanor and articulate both in person and on the phone
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service abilities: friendly, courteous, and helpful
Highly organized with a commitment to quality
Professional in appearance and conduct
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Word
Self-driven and capable of managing rejection
Independent, confident, energetic, and enthusiastic with a good sense of humor
Patient, respectful, reliable, supportive, and ethical
Fluency in English and Spanish
