This company is a leader in Next Generation Sequencing based genetic and genomic testing services located in Los Angeles, California. They are a technology-driven company with extensive capabilities in NGS, bioinformatics and pathology services. I am currently partnered with them and looking to recruit a Business Development Director of Biopharma partnerships and alliances (preferably based in Boston but also interested in candidates located in San Francisco).
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee technical support, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech partners, ensuring their technical needs and addressing client challenges
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, project management, sales, and to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to clients and internal teams, ensuring clear understanding and alignment, providing expert guidance and support on scientific and technical matters
Provide technical training and support to internal sales teams and partners.
Prepare and present technical reports and updates to senior management.
Research new methodologies taying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications
PhD in life sciences, genetics, or biotechnology.
8-10 years of experience in CRO/Pharma industry.
Translational/Biomarker experience.
Deep understanding of NGS, Spatial, Proteomics, Pathology Services and Clinical trials.
