The Health Insurance Enrollment Specialist is a superior role (qualified leads provided) processing Affordable Health Care/Medicare applications into Health Sherpa or similar websites. The agent will advise customers on insurance policy selections tailored to their needs.
The role is based in a small office setting in Boca Raton, Florida with an expected start date in mid-October.
Responsibilities
Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay licensed.
Offer details to customers about healthcare and insurance plan options and promote insurance offerings to meet business targets.
Provide high quality customer service and assess customer needs, resolve any concerns, and offer tailored solutions.
Act and provide guidance in compliance with regulations and policies.
Keep updated on changes in insurance and healthcare regulations and trends to provide reliable information.
Work cross-functionally to deliver a unified customer service approach.
Qualifications
Possession of valid Health Insurance License.
1-2 years of experience in office or contact center processing or selling ACA or Medicare products preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to type 40 words a minute minimum.
Must be able to pass Drug and Criminal Background check.
Career-minded with a desire for professional advancement.
Must be able to work independently in a fast paced and changing environment.
Strong skills in educating and troubleshooting applications to meet customer needs.
Education
High school diploma or GED
Salary
$21-$23 hourly (Full-Time). Pay is based on various factors including experience and qualifications.
Hours & Schedule
Monday - Friday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm EST; and potential for some selective Saturdays.
