Seeking a Senior Sales Manager for Fashion to launch our break-through, plant-based materials and grow our pipeline of top clients. This is a unique opportunity to launch an industry first material and be at the forefront of innovation. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual with a proven track record in generating growth and an established network of top clients.

Requirements and Key Responsibilities:
This is an incredible opportunity for a driven and action-oriented Sales Manager to be
part of an innovative company in the burgeoning sustainable materials space as we
expand into new verticals. You'll be responsible for generating new sales in the fashion
and footwear space from a growing number of Fortune 100 companies searching for
sustainable solutions. To be successful in this role you need to come with an
established client base and navigating among stakeholders. Your ability to identify
opportunities that are a good fit for our materials, objectives, and business plan will be
key. This role reports directly to the Head of Global Sales. Travel to clients is to be
expected.
What We Expect from You
? 8+ years in leather, polyurethane, plant-based material and/or material sales for
fashion, footwear, hospitality, furniture, etc
? A proven track record of securing major contracts
? Bachelor's technical degree preferred
? A technical expert in polyurethane, leather alternatives, leather, and fabrics.
? An excellent communicator of product attributes, specs, and capabilities.
? Able to develop a solid understanding of each customer's objectives, business
operations, selection and evaluation criteria, and general buying processes
? Has top-notch networking skills to uncover and map all decision-making contacts
and influencers
? Can conduct market research and prospecting methods to further penetrate
assigned target customer accounts (i.e., design and product development
departments)
? Stays informed on industry news and market trends within the sustainable
materials space to develop product positioning and messages that differentiate
the company's materials over the competition
? Proactively interacts with assigned targets to understand the Voice of the
Customer, their needs today, and their needs in the future (i.e., perceived, and
tangible value proposition)
