About the role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of User Acquisition to define and execute our go-to-market (GTM) strategy at launch and drive growth across new community segments and geographic regions. This consumer-focused role presents a unique opportunity to introduce a groundbreaking product to the market, revolutionizing online community productivity. This role requires a strategic leader who is also eager to dive into hands-on work to build our growth engine from the ground up.
Responsibilities
Provide the high-level strategic direction for marketing and user acquisition:
Define and execute a scalable acquisition strategy across multiple channels (paid, organic, social, etc.)
Lead influencer marketing and social media efforts to drive awareness and engagement
Develop and monitor KPIs for user acquisition, using data to track performance and optimize campaigns
Partner with product teams to ensure seamless onboarding and retention, creating a smooth user journey
Build and manage referral programs and viral loops to encourage organic growth.
Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership to align growth strategies with overall company objectives

Qualifications
5+ years of demonstrated experience in growth, influencer marketing and customer acquisition roles, experience engaging with virtual communities and proven track record of driving growth for early-stage startups.
Go-To-Market skills
Proven expertise in influencer partnerships and social media marketing strategies
Demonstrated ability to set, execute, and achieve numerical growth targets
Expertise in market research and community success
A background in competitive analysis and product positioning
Experience in demand generation and growth marketing techniques
General skills
Analytical skills to define a problem, identify solutions, and recommend a course of action
Communication skills to educate others on how your projects are designed, implemented, and maintained
Project management skills to keep stakeholders informed and deliver to a timeline
Beneficial skills
Proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau)
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
Background in the gaming industry
