Job Description:

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth across global markets. As VP of Sales, you will oversee a team of sales professionals, develop high-impact sales strategies, and build partnerships to expand our presence and market share. This role requires a strategic mindset, a hands-on leadership approach, and extensive experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the U.S. and global markets, with a focus on expanding air, ocean, and multimodal services.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, setting performance goals and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving growth through client acquisition and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct market analysis to adapt strategies based on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market demands.
  • Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports, presenting insights to executive leadership.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and key client meetings to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Logistics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of sales experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and expanding market share in the freight forwarding industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of global logistics, air and ocean freight, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and a strategic mindset for adapting to evolving market conditions.
