We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth across global markets. As VP of Sales, you will oversee a team of sales professionals, develop high-impact sales strategies, and build partnerships to expand our presence and market share. This role requires a strategic mindset, a hands-on leadership approach, and extensive experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the U.S. and global markets, with a focus on expanding air, ocean, and multimodal services.
Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, setting performance goals and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving growth through client acquisition and strategic partnerships.
Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and enhance the client experience.
Conduct market analysis to adapt strategies based on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market demands.
Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports, presenting insights to executive leadership.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and key client meetings to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Logistics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years of sales experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and expanding market share in the freight forwarding industry.
In-depth knowledge of global logistics, air and ocean freight, and customer acquisition strategies.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical abilities and a strategic mindset for adapting to evolving market conditions.
