Focus:
Lead product strategy and development from concept to launch, aligning with business objectives and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, regulatory, sales, and marketing to deliver high-quality products on time.
Manage the product lifecycle, ensuring continuous improvement and enhancement based on market trends, customer feedback, and technological advancements.
Oversee product portfolio management, focusing on innovation, cost-efficiency, and market competitiveness.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Provide leadership and mentoring to junior product managers, guiding them through best practices in product management and development.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, including promotional materials and market positioning.
Collaborate with the sales team to drive product adoption and achieve revenue targets.
Skill Set:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related technical field. An advanced degree (MBA or MS) is highly preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, marketing, or innovation, with at least 5 years in the pharmaceutical or drug formulations industry.
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, with 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
Expertise in project management methodologies, with a proven track record of leading successful product launches.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, FDA regulations, and quality control standards within the pharmaceutical industry.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
