Role Overview:

As the Branch Manager, you will take charge of Houston's branch operations, focusing on generating new business, expanding customer relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role is perfect for a results-oriented sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands how to leverage logistics expertise to drive revenue. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales growth within freight forwarding, as well as in managing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the branch's business development efforts, identifying new market opportunities and driving revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and partners to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand the branch's market reach and generate new business.
  • Oversee branch operations to ensure seamless, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring that goals are met or exceeded.
  • Foster a sales-oriented culture within the branch, emphasizing teamwork, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with at least 3 years in a sales or management role.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and business development in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, including import/export processes and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • A strategic, sales-driven mindset with the ability to build and lead a successful team in a competitive market.
